  • description: NASCAR Refresh tracks are now available in the 2025 Season 2 update! The NASCAR Refresh project involves re-creating all art at each track, using our current 2025 methods and quality standards. Where appropriate, tracks were updated with additions and changes from the real world, such as new buildings, modifications made to grandstands such as aesthetics or removal, the addition of safer barrier, and more. 2D artwork from a different era of art quality at iRacing has been replaced with modern art quality 3D catch fencing, 3D safer barrier, 5-layer-shader terrain, and advanced 3D trees. "Track materials", which are the textures for what you drive on, have all been re-created at substantially higher resolution and are fully Physically Based Rendering. This work is part of an effort to update all of iRacing to modern standards, and prepare for our upcoming New Graphics Engine. Iowa's update did not yet include a re-scan. The re-scan will ship mid-season as soon as it's complete.
